Our company has developed an STC to install a new fuel shutoff valve on F.260-A-B-C-D series.
You know that this component shall be overhauled or replaced each 1500 hours or 5 years.
Currently, the old manufacturer of the part confirm to us and our authority that they are no more certified to do overhaul of this component with the issue of EASA Form 1, and we currently had lead times of 9 months and 5000 euros in advance.
Our new valve is currently installed and certified on the first aircraft and is available to extend applicability on request.
We are the only authorized shop that is authorized to do the modification.
After this mod, the valve maintenance will be easy to do and is almost ON CONDITION.
No more TBO.
And if repair is needed, O-rings are MS standard and repair kit is available commercially.
